oops sorry havent finished.. i also meant 'looks like the LATTER to me'..
having said that, my friend says she loves that corridor 34 pic! she likes the oversat. colours- which just shows beauty is such a matter of perception!
i do like the space in the corridor shot.
moving forward! :) do try portraits (close-ups) of people in their environment.. use bokeh for good effect.. sharp on facial expression/features; slightly blurred-out bgrd (eg; of the textiles)
For portrait shot, I have tried one in coffee shop but the subject is slightly blurred, so not really successful.
I will try out more on portriats in terms of making the subject sharp and in focus because it is harder to keep subject focus with one autofocus point of Powershot.
I don't agree with miss koh's comment on over-photoshopping :-) I think it's rather unique (maybe this is your individual style - there are similarities between this and the pics u shared at objectifs)
Last photo esp can be cropped much tighter. Photography (like almost all art) is a subtractive process - choose the elements you want to bring out, remove everything else, then decide how to place emphasis on your focus

hey zeyang!
just sharing some impressions here.
i think there's a fine line between artistic intent and over-photoshopping.. saturated pic looks like the former to me.
i think u can use closer crops for most of the pics here; and the angles.. can re-think them? a bit awkwardly slanty

Dear Ms Koh,
Thank you for the feedback, lots of points taken.

Best regards,
Zeyang
